REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LETTER OF VERIFICATION OF STUDENT STATUS
FOR
RETURNING STUDENTS

Original letter from school stating
the applicant's active enrollment status and tuition and fees.
Note that applicants are to download and print the
Verification of Student Status (SFI) form and submit it to the
school authorities to incorporate into the original letter from
school stating applicant's active enrollment status. The letter is
to be certified by school authorities with the school seal embossed
on it before forwarding to the Nigeria High Commission for
processing. (two copies)

Attach two passport sized photos to
the application

Two copies of passport data pages
-
Two photocopies of prior Student
Authorization Visa
-
Two copies of Student Identification
card.

An application processing fee of CAN $10.00, made payable by Money Order to Nigeria
High Commission, Ottawa.

Prepaid, self-addressed courier envelope (e.g. Canada Post Xpresspost)

In the event of request for the replacement of an already authenticated document which is
declared missing, a processing fee of CAN $20.00 shall apply. Such an application must be accompanied by a sworn affidavit or a self-explanatory letter of loss and a new set of documents as stated in numbers
1 to 7 above
FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS WITH ADMISSION

Original letter of acceptance/admission
from school.

Original letter from school stating the applicant's active
