Business and Investment Forum
Holding in Toronto,
Calgary and Vancouver from November 5th- 8th, 2007
The High Commission is pleased to invite
members of of the Nigerian Business Community and other stake
holders the largest ever Nigerian business delegation to Canada. Led
by two senior federal cabinet ministers of the new Yar’Adua
Administration, the mission will include the Secretary of State for
Energy, senior officials of the Nigerian Investment Promotion
Commission, the Central Bank of Nigeria and various other agencies,
and a strong private sector component. The Nigerian delegation will
be composed of at least 30 participants.
This is a truly unique opportunity that will
allow businesses to assess Nigeria’s opportunities before actually
taking a trip. Canadian speakers will provide a Canadian perspective
on Nigeria too. For firms already active in Nigeria, this also
presents a great opportunity to meet new business partners as well
as politicians and senior officials in key ministries and agencies.
Venue
There will be comprehensive Nigeria-Canada Business Forums in
Toronto (Monday, Nov. 5th), Calgary (Thursday, Nov. 8th), and
Vancouver (Friday, Nov. 9th) where Canadian businesses can get a
fuller picture of current Nigerian business opportunities.
Registration Fee
The cost is just $50 per city event, including
lunch, coffee, information materials, and tremendous networking
opportunities. Seating is limited in each city due to space
constraints.
